NDLI PROJECT WEBSITE

NDLI has partnered with Indian Public Library Movement (IPLM) to rejuvenate public library system by exposing the librarians of public libraries to offerings and benefits of National Digital Library of India and to assist them in reaching out the goods to the users at large. It is a one-day workshop conducted for 50~60 professionals from 25~30 public libraries. First half of the workshop is spent in presentations on NDLI and in the second half hands-on demonstration is conducted for user registration, institutional registration, and various options for search and browse in NDLI. At the end of the training the participants are given certificates from NDLI.

These workshops are usually conducted at the state-level in collaboration with the Directorate of Public Libraries of the state, IPLM, and NDLI Workshop Partner institutions.

On completion of the training the participants are encouraged to conduct district-level or local user workshops for NDLI in their respective areas. Presentations, training material, and collaterals for the same may be requested at: ndlproject@library.iitkgp.ernet.in
